We are seeking a dynamic and professional
Business Operations Specialist to join our Outpatient Therapy Team. The Business Operations Specialist is responsible for training and improving current business operations related to the Experience Specialist-Rehab (ESR) position and business office management to focus on modeling and training exceptional customer service and care delivery of operational functions to ensure goals and quality standards are met.
The Business Operations Specialist will have a regular on-site clinic rotation to support site growth, training needs, and process improvement. This person will also function as a “float” RSC for scheduled and unscheduled RSC coverage needs. This position may also assist with back-up Rehab Insurance Coordinator (RIC) duties as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the therapy team to support exceptional patient experience and outcomes.
- Embrace lifelong learning: willingly receive feedback and learn from team members, seek continual learning opportunities, and share feedback to promote the growth of the team.
- Demonstrate a willingness to be flexible and to take on additional responsibilities to support the team and process improvement initiatives.
- Ongoing training of new and existing ESRs and related workflows.
- Creating, updating, and improving workflows and tip sheets.
- Identifying, gathering, and communicating key data/metrics to support operations

License/Certifications:
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to multiple locations.
Qualifications Include:
- Associate Degree in Business, Management or related field. Previous experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Prior experience of insurance – obtaining benefits, submitting authorizations, etc.
- Excellent organizational, internal and external public relations skills.
- Knowledge of registration processes, Epic Cadence program
- Customer service experience
