Role Overview
As a Team Leader – Business Operations, you will be responsible for managing a team of Business Operations Executives while driving revenue-generating activities, operational efficiency, and business growth.
This role requires a leader who can balance team management, stakeholder coordination, revenue ownership, and process execution. You will be responsible for ensuring your team achieves business targets, maintains operational standards, and contributes directly to the company's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Business Operations Executives.
- Drive daily, weekly, and monthly performance against organizational goals.
- Monitor individual and team KPIs, productivity, and target achievement.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and development discussions.
- Foster a high-performance culture built on accountability, ownership, and results.
2. Revenue Generation & Business Growth
- Drive revenue targets through effective execution of business initiatives and student engagement activities.
- Monitor and improve conversion metrics across assigned business processes.
- Support the team in handling high-priority opportunities and critical business conversations.
- Identify growth opportunities within existing partnerships and operational channels.
- Ensure consistent achievement of revenue and business performance goals.
- Track pipeline movement, closures, and business outcomes to maximize revenue generation.
3. Operational Excellence & Process Management
- Ensure smooth execution of day-to-day operational activities.
- Maintain adherence to operational processes, SOPs, and quality standards.
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure timely completion of projects, tasks, and stakeholder deliverables.
- Monitor operational health and proactively address challenges.
4. Stakeholder & Partner Management
- Coordinate with colleges, universities, corporate partners, and internal teams.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with stakeholders.
- Ensure seamless communication and execution across departments.
- Address escalations and resolve stakeholder concerns effectively.
5. Quality Control & Team Development
- Conduct regular quality audits and process reviews.
- Identify skill gaps and organize training sessions to improve team performance.
- Ensure team members maintain high standards of professionalism and communication.
- Develop future leaders within the organization through continuous mentoring.
6. Reporting & Business Analytics
- Track and report team performance, revenue achievements, and operational metrics.
- Analyze business data to identify trends, opportunities, and improvement areas.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for leadership review.
- Use insights and data-driven decision-making to improve business outcomes.
