With a rapidly expanding footprint, strong brand credibility, and large-scale operational growth plans, CHC is looking for a visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who can build a future-ready financial ecosystem for one of India’s fastest-growing healthcare brands.
Role Overview
The CFO will serve as a strategic leadership partner to the founders and management team, driving financial governance, operational efficiency, scalability, and long-term business sustainability across the organization.
This is not a traditional finance role. We are looking for a business-driven finance leader who understands high-growth healthcare operations, multi-location expansion, healthcare compliance, fundraising readiness, profitability management, and strategic execution.
The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership capabilities, operational depth, healthcare business understanding, and the ability to build scalable systems during a high-growth phase.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Financial Leadership
- Develop and execute CHC’s long-term financial strategy aligned with expansion goals
- Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and organizational profitability
- Partner closely with founders on strategic growth initiatives, investments, and expansion planning
- Build scalable financial models for new centre launches and business verticals
Financial Operations & Governance
- Oversee complete finance, accounts, taxation, treasury, and audit functions
- Ensure strong internal controls, SOPs, and governance frameworks across centres
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, fund utilization, and financial health
- Lead statutory compliance, GST, TDS, ROC, regulatory filings, and audit management
- Establish financial discipline and reporting structures across departments
Business & Operational Finance
- Build robust MIS dashboards and business intelligence reporting systems
- Analyze unit economics, centre-wise profitability, and operational performance
- Support revenue optimization and cost-efficiency initiatives across operations
- Drive data-backed financial decision-making for leadership teams
- Work closely with operations, HR, marketing, and business heads for cross-functional financial planning
Expansion & Investor Readiness
- Prepare investor-ready financial reports, projections, and valuation models
- Support fundraising, banking relationships, and strategic financial partnerships
- Lead due diligence, compliance readiness, and institutional financial structuring
- Assist in M&A evaluations, partnerships, and healthcare expansion opportunities
Team Leadership
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and accounts team
- Introduce automation, process improvements, and technology-driven finance systems
- Create a culture of ownership, accountability, and operational excellence
Candidate Profile Preferred Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory; MBA Finance preferred
- 10–18 years of experience in finance leadership roles
- Prior experience in hospitals, healthcare chains, diagnostics, wellness, or healthcare startups preferred
- Experience managing multi-location operations and large-scale business growth
