Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce CPQ Developer with strong expertise in Salesforce CPQ, solution design, and enterprise sales automation processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Salesforce CPQ development, product configuration, pricing models, quote management, contract lifecycle processes, and business process automation within complex enterprise environments.
In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, sales operations teams, solution architects, and technical teams to design, develop, and optimize Salesforce CPQ solutions. You will be responsible for implementing scalable CPQ configurations, developing integrations, enhancing quote-to-cash processes, and ensuring seamless alignment between business requirements and technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Salesforce CPQ solutions to support enterprise sales and quoting processes.
- Configure products, pricing rules, discount schedules, product bundles, approval workflows, and quote generation functionalities within Salesforce CPQ.
- Develop and maintain Product Rules, Price Rules, Configuration Attributes, Guided Selling, and Quote Templates.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate requirements into scalable Salesforce CPQ solutions.
- Design and implement integrations between Salesforce CPQ and enterprise applications such as Salesforce Sales Cloud, ERP systems, CRM platforms, and third-party applications.
- Configure and manage contract lifecycle, renewals, amendments, subscriptions, and quote-to-cash business processes.
- Develop custom Apex classes, Lightning components, Flows, and automation solutions to enhance CPQ functionality.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Support Salesforce CPQ deployment activities, testing, release management, and production support initiatives.
- Optimize system performance, usability, and scalability while adhering to Salesforce CPQ best practices.
- Create technical documentation, solution designs, process flows, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
Requirements
Basic Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development, Salesforce CPQ implementation, or consulting roles.
- Strong expertise in Salesforce CPQ including Product Configuration, Pricing, Product Rules, Price Rules, Guided Selling, and Quote Templates.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, CPQ Administration, and Quote-to-Cash (QTC) processes.
- Experience configuring subscriptions, renewals, amendments, contract management, and approval workflows.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform development including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, and Flows.
- Experience integrating Salesforce CPQ with ERP systems, CRM applications, and third-party enterprise platforms.
- Strong understanding of sales operations, pricing strategies, revenue lifecycle management, and order management processes.
- Experience in requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, Salesforce integrations, and middleware platforms.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within global cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I and/or Salesforce Administrator Certification.
- Experience with Salesforce Billing, Revenue Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Service Cloud.
- Exposure to ERP integrations such as SAP, Oracle ERP, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite.
- Knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), JavaScript, SOQL, and integration technologies.
- Experience working in Agile development environments and enterprise transformation programs.
- Understanding of enterprise sales operations, subscription management, pricing strategies, and revenue optimization initiatives.
- Exposure to digital transformation, process automation, and cloud modernization projects.
- Experience supporting global Salesforce CPQ implementations across multiple business units and geographies.
