The Chief Financial Officer serves as a strategic business partner to the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, Board of Directors, and shareholders by leading the company’s financial strategy, fiscal stewardship, business performance analysis, and enterprise technology capabilities. This role oversees all Finance and Information Technology functions to ensure strong financial health, scalable systems, operational efficiency, data integrity, and long-term business growth aligned with Lundberg’s mission and strategic priorities.
This is ideally an onsite position but would be open to someone in the Western US who could be in office roughly two weeks a month.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with business objectives, growth priorities, and capital needs.
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial performance management to drive revenue growth, profitability, and cash flow.
- Oversee treasury, banking relationships, cash management, capital structure, and liquidity planning.
- Provide financial analysis and strategic decision support for pricing, capital investments, acquisitions, and major business initiatives.
- Lead accounting, financial reporting, tax, audit, compliance, and internal controls to ensure accuracy, integrity, and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and present financial performance, forecasts, risks, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership, Board of Directors, and shareholders.
- Partner cross-functionally with business leaders to improve performance, allocate resources effectively, and strengthen enterprise decision-making.
- Provide strategic oversight of IT operations, cybersecurity, enterprise systems, data governance, and technology investments to support business growth and operational excellence.
- Lead ERP, business systems, and reporting optimization efforts to improve efficiency, analytics, and financial accuracy.
- Build and develop high-performing Finance and IT teams through coaching, performance management, succession planning, and a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience within complex organizations
- Experience leading finance teams in a consumer packaged goods (CPG) organization required
- Experience leading a company through a significant shift
- Experience directly managing trade investment strategy
- Strong strategic and commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial insights into business decisions and growth strategies
- Executive presence and communication skills to effectively influence senior leadership, Board of Directors, shareholders, lenders, and external partners
- Demonstrated success building, leading, and developing high-performing teams across finance, IT, and cross-functional business groups
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required
- MBA, CPA, or other advanced financial credential preferred
