Blair West are supporting a private equity-backed, multi-site business, with the search for a Chief Financial Officer. Operating through a successful franchised model, the business has established a strong market presence and is entering an exciting period of accelerated growth.
Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with investors, this role will play a pivotal part in supporting the next phase of expansion including a significant site roll-out plan, providing both strategic financial leadership and commercial insight across the organisation.
The opportunity:
- Lead the finance function, ensuring robust financial controls, reporting and governance across a complex multi-site operation.
- Act as a key member of the executive leadership team, supporting strategic decision-making and long-term business planning.
- Partner with the CEO and private equity investors to drive growth initiatives and value creation plans.
- Develop financial models and forecasting processes to support expansion, acquisitions and new site openings.
- Provide commercial insight into franchise performance, identifying opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Oversee budgeting, cash flow management and financial planning across the wider business.
- Support investor reporting requirements and board presentations, delivering clear and actionable financial analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement across finance systems, processes and reporting capabilities.
- Build and develop a high-performing finance team capable of supporting future growth ambitions.
You’ll be the ideal candidate for this role if you have:
- Experience operating as a CFO or FD within a high-growth business environment, including site roll-outs.
- A strong understanding of multi-site operations, ideally within a franchised or distributed operating model.
- Experience working in a private equity-backed business and supporting investor relationships.
- A track record of scaling businesses through periods of significant growth and change.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence decision-making at board level.
- Experience developing financial planning, forecasting and performance reporting frameworks.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with a hands-on approach when required.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience building and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of working effectively across operational and executive levels.
