We are looking for a highly organized, commercially minded, and execution-focused individual to work directly with the founder and help drive the day-to-day operations of the business.
This is a cross-functional leadership role with exposure to marketing, e-commerce, inventory planning, product launches, operations, customer experience, and business performance. The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, coordinating teams, and ensuring things get done.
Key Responsibilities
Business Operations
- Drive execution across all departments and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Work closely with the founder to implement business priorities and growth initiatives.
- Track business performance and ensure teams remain accountable to targets.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions.
Marketing & Growth
- Coordinate with performance marketing agencies and internal teams.
- Monitor key metrics such as ROAS, CAC, conversion rates, revenue, and customer acquisition.
- Ensure campaigns, launches, influencer collaborations, and content initiatives are executed effectively.
- Track performance and recommend improvements.
E-commerce & Shopify
- Oversee website updates, product launches, merchandising, and promotional activities.
- Monitor website performance and customer experience.
- Coordinate with designers, developers, and marketing teams to improve conversion and user experience.
Inventory & Supply Chain
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast stock requirements.
- Coordinate with production and procurement teams to ensure product availability.
- Reduce stock-outs and improve inventory planning accuracy.
Product Development & Launches
- Coordinate new product launches from concept to market.
- Ensure timelines are met across product, packaging, production, and marketing teams.
- Monitor launch performance and customer feedback.
Customer Experience
- Monitor customer feedback, reviews, and service metrics.
- Ensure customer issues are resolved quickly and professionally.
- Continuously improve customer satisfaction and retention.
Reporting & Business Insights
- Prepare weekly and monthly business reports.
- Track revenue, marketing performance, inventory health, and operational KPIs.
- Present insights and recommendations to leadership.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 4–8 years of experience in D2C, e-commerce, retail, FMCG, beauty, wellness, lifestyle, luxury retail, or consumer brands.
- Strong project management and execution skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Comfortable working directly with founders and taking ownership of outcomes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience at premium consumer brands such as Kama Ayurveda, Forest Essentials, Nicobar, Nappa Dori, Good Earth, The Whole Truth, Pilgrim, Minimalist, or similar brands.
- Experience with Shopify and D2C operations.
- Exposure to Meta Ads and Google Ads reporting.
- Experience in inventory planning, merchandising, or product launches.
- Previous experience in a Founder’s Office, Business Operations, Category Management, Brand Operations, or E-commerce Management role.
