Position Overview
We at North Star Executive Search - a HR Interface Group Company are conducting a search for a Chief Financial Officer on behalf of one of India's most respected contemporary art organizations.
This role represents a unique opportunity to lead the financial stewardship of an institution operating at the intersection of culture, commerce, luxury, creativity, and international business.
The CFO will serve as a key member of the leadership team and act as a strategic advisor to the Founder and Board on all matters relating to financial performance, business strategy, capital allocation, governance, risk management, growth planning, operational efficiency, and long-term enterprise value creation.
Beyond traditional finance responsibilities, the successful candidate will be expected to build scalable financial systems, strengthen governance frameworks, enhance commercial decision-making, optimize capital deployment, support expansion initiatives, and provide leadership across a complex ecosystem involving artists, collectors, institutions, galleries, vendors, international stakeholders, and strategic partners.

- Oversee all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, and financial controls.
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial information.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
- Strengthen internal controls, governance frameworks, and financial discipline across the organization.
- Ensure robust financial systems and operating procedures.
π Commercial Finance & Performance Management
- Drive profitability analysis across business units, exhibitions, artist programs, collector initiatives, and commercial activities.
- Establish meaningful KPIs, dashboards, and management reporting frameworks.
- Support commercial decision-making through financial modelling and business analytics.
- Monitor business performance against strategic objectives.

- Lead treasury management, cash flow planning, liquidity management, and capital allocation.

- Develop treasury policies and risk management frameworks.

- Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory. MBA or advanced finance qualifications preferred.
