Job Description
NeosAlpha is seeking a highly organised, commercially minded Chief of Staff / Business Operations Lead to work directly with the CEO and leadership team. The successful candidate will act as an extension of the CEO, helping drive execution across sales, delivery, recruitment, partnerships, operations, and strategic initiatives. The role is designed to reduce operational overhead on the CEO by ensuring that key actions, decisions, and priorities are effectively tracked, coordinated, and delivered. This is a highly visible role requiring strong business acumen, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to operate across multiple business functions.

Location: Maidenhead (WFO Only)
CEO Support & Business Operations
- Act as a trusted partner to the CEO in managing strategic and operational priorities.
- Capture, track, and follow up on actions arising from customer meetings, internal reviews, leadership meetings, and strategic discussions.
- Ensure accountability for agreed actions across the business.
- Proactively identify blockers and escalate risks where required.
- Maintain visibility of key initiatives and provide regular progress updates to the CEO.
Sales & Commercial Operations
- Support management of sales opportunities, renewals, and strategic accounts.
- Coordinate proposal submissions, commercial reviews, and contract processes.
- Track pipeline progression and ensure timely follow-up on opportunities.
- Assist with partner relationships and strategic alliance activities.
- Work with sales leadership to improve operational efficiency and reporting.
Strategic Projects
- Lead or coordinate cross-functional initiatives on the CEO’s behalf.
- Support acquisitions, partnerships, new service launches, and operational improvement projects.
- Conduct market, competitor, and industry research.
- Prepare briefing papers and recommendations for leadership decisions.
Recruitment & Resource Management
- Coordinate strategic hiring initiatives.
- Support workforce planning and resource forecasting.
- Track recruitment activity and key staffing requirements.
- Ensure critical hiring actions are completed in a timely manner.
Governance & Reporting
- Prepare executive dashboards and KPI reporting.
- Support leadership meetings and quarterly business reviews.
- Drive action management and follow-through across departments.
- Maintain oversight of key business metrics and performance indicators.
AI & Process Automation
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve business efficiency.
- Implement tools and processes to reduce administrative workload across teams.
- Support the adoption of AI-assisted workflows within sales, operations, and delivery functions.
Required Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Business Operations, Chief of Staff, Programme Management, Consulting, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of professional services, technology consulting, SaaS, cloud, integration, or digital transformation businesses.
- Experience working directly with senior executives or leadership teams.
- Strong commercial awareness and business judgement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- High attention to detail and strong follow-through.
Desirable Experience
- Experience within IT consulting, cloud services, integration, data, AI, or software delivery organisations.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, project management tools, and business reporting.
- Experience using AI tools to improve productivity and operational effectiveness.
- Understanding of contracts, commercial negotiations, and professional services engagements.
