Position Overview
The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will be responsible for designing, leading, and executing NEMI's overall revenue generation strategy across India and international markets. The role demands a highly entrepreneurial leader who can create sustainable revenue channels through CSR partnerships, B2B strategic alliances, corporate training programs, B2G engagements, institutional partnerships, healthcare and life sciences skilling initiatives, international collaborations, and ecosystem development.
The CRO will lead the organisation's revenue engine by identifying high-impact opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and converting them into scalable revenue-generating models.
The position carries complete ownership of annual revenue targets, strategic growth plans, and expansion initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. CSR Revenue Generation
* Design and execute CSR fundraising strategies under Schedule VII of the Companies Act.
* Build relationships with CSR heads, foundations, trusts, and philanthropic organisations.
* Secure multi-year CSR grants for skilling, employability, healthcare, life sciences, and digital education projects.
* Develop state-wise and sector-wise CSR pipelines.
* Convert CSR projects into scalable and sustainable programs.
* Prepare proposals, concept notes, impact reports, and funding presentations.
* Build partnerships with PSUs and large corporations.
2. B2B Strategic Partnerships
* Establish partnerships with universities, colleges, hospitals, healthcare institutions, and training providers.
* Create institutional licensing and subscription models.
* Develop channel partner ecosystems.
* Build revenue-sharing models with partners.
* Expand NEMI's institutional footprint nationally and internationally.
* Lead strategic alliances with industry associations and sector skill councils.
3. Corporate Training Revenue
* Design and sell customised corporate training programs.
* Generate business from healthcare, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, diagnostics, life sciences, IT, and allied industries.
* Build Learning & Development (L&D) partnerships with corporates.
* Create annual training retainership models.
* Develop workforce upskilling and reskilling programs.
* Introduce competency-based training solutions.
4. B2G (Business to Government) Partnerships
* Build relationships with Central Government ministries, State Governments, PSUs, and government agencies.
* Participate in RFPs, tenders, and empanelment opportunities.
* Secure skilling projects under national missions.
* Establish partnerships with government universities and public institutions.
* Build large-scale livelihood and employability programs.

* Develop partnerships with international universities and healthcare organisations.

* Identify grant opportunities from international development agencies.
6. Strategic Alliance Development
* Build relationships with:

7. New Revenue Stream Creation

8. Revenue Operations Leadership
* Own annual and quarterly revenue targets.
* Build a national revenue strategy.
* Develop market expansion plans.
* Create forecasting and pipeline management systems.
* Establish CRM-driven sales processes.
* Lead cross-functional revenue teams.
* Monitor KPIs and conversion metrics.

Desired Qualifications
* MBA / PGDM / Master's Degree from a reputed institution.
* 12+ years of leadership experience.
* Strong network across CSR, Government, Corporate and Education sectors.
* Proven experience in revenue generation exceeding ₹25 Crores annually.
* Prior exposure to skilling, education, healthcare or life sciences sectors is preferred.
