Our client is a premier, multi-site luxury leisure, hospitality, and real estate asset group.
We are seeking a commercially astute, institutionally minded Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Finance Director to lead our financial strategy, capital allocation, and corporate governance. Serving as a core strategic partner to the Chief Executive Officer and our institutional debt partners, you will ensure robust financial controls, drive operational profitability across a multi-revenue stream ecosystem, and meticulously manage complex multi-million-pound capital expenditure (CapEx) schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership & Capital Allocation
- Act as the primary financial strategist, partnering with the CEO and Board to optimize profitability across multiple revenue streams, including premium accommodation, food and beverage (F&B), membership clubs, and high-margin retail partnerships.
- Oversee the deployment, tracking, and compliance of a multi-million-pound debt/CapEx facility dedicated to estate-wide infrastructure, sustainability upgrades, and facility modernisations.
- Lead the financial appraisal, due diligence, and structuring of future corporate asset purchases, joint ventures, and international franchise agreements.
Operational Finance & Commercial Optimization
- Drive a culture of rigorous cost control and margin optimization across a highly diversified, 1,000+ employee operation.
- Modernize internal systems by introducing advanced financial tech stacks, automation, and predictive data analytics to optimize labour scheduling, yield management, and supply chain efficiencies.
- Direct the management of complex inventory, working capital, and multi-site retail/supplier commercial agreements.
Governance, Risk & ESG
- Ensure absolute compliance with statutory accounting standards, corporate tax strategies, and commercial regulations across domestic and evolving international jurisdictions. Establish strict financial governance frameworks to track the ROI of sustainability initiatives (energy efficiency, waste reduction, carbon footprint mitigations) embedded within the estate's refurbishment programme.
Experience Required
Sector Background: Proven experience as senior finance within premium hospitality, luxury multi-site retail, resort management, or real estate asset management.
Capital Deal Experience: Demonstrable track record of managing large-scale capital deployment programmes or property refurbishments, alongside negotiating or managing complex institutional debt structures (Private Credit / Alternative Investment
- Funds).Corporate Evolution: Experience navigating the transition from a legacy founder/family-led operational model into a sophisticated, institutionally backed corporate structure.
- Scale: Previous financial oversight of multi-site business operations with revenues exceeding £40M–£50M+ and substantial headcount.
Qualifications & Technical Skills
ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with significant post-qualification experience (PQE).
Exceptional expertise in corporate finance, real estate valuation models, cash-flow forecasting under debt pressure, and investment appraisal.
Advanced proficiency in enterprise-level ERP systems and modern business intelligence tools.
