MacGregor Black is partnering with a leading sport and fashion brand management business on the search for a Sales Operations Coordinator based in London.
The business designs, develops, manufactures and sells clothing and accessories on behalf of an extensive portfolio of globally recognised brands, operating across multiple retail channels and markets. This role sits at the centre of the order lifecycle, supporting Account Managers with the day-to-day execution and coordination needed to keep assigned retail accounts running accurately and on time, from order entry through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage customer order sheets across Excel and SAP, ensuring accuracy and adherence to retailer-specific requirements
- Coordinate the handover of orders to logistics and sourcing teams, proactively escalating any delays
- Support account managers with additional style requests, liaising with Design to confirm SKU detail and data accuracy
- Provide customers with information required for internal systems and ticketing processes
- Liaise with sourcing teams to keep customers updated on production sample arrival
- Work with customers and sourcing teams to ensure correct labelling on product and packaging in line with production requirements
- Prepare available-to-sell reports for account manager review
- Issue monthly shipping reviews to customers and communicate resulting orders to the production team
- Reconcile factory orders against customer purchase orders, flagging discrepancies and communicating changes to buyers
- Track orders against critical path schedules, issuing weekly updates to buyers and agreeing actions on any late deliveries
- Action monthly order book reconciliations between internal systems and customer records, resolving any differences
- Liaise with overseas production and logistics teams to ensure smooth order handover
- Support finance on invoice discrepancies as needed
- Collate data to support account managers in building brand and customer strategies
- Prepare key information for monthly and quarterly business reviews
- Maintain accurate pricing data in SAP
- Review existing processes and propose or implement improvements
What We're Looking For:
- 2-3 years' experience in a similar sales operations or coordination role
- Strong attention to detail and a diligent approach to data accuracy
- Confidence working with large volumes of data
- Adaptable and proactive, comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication skills, confident liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong Excel skills; SAP experience desirable
