Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role based in Patna. The CFO will oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning to support the company’s growth. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. The CFO will analyze financial data, develop insights, and provide strategic recommendations to the executive team on investments, cost optimization, and long-term financial strategy. The role also involves leading and mentoring the finance team, managing relationships with banks, auditors, and external partners, and implementing robust internal controls and financial policies.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance, with hands-on experience in Financial Planning and budgeting for a growing organization.
- Proficiency in preparing, interpreting, and presenting Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Advanced Analytical Skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights and action plans.
- Proven experience in financial leadership roles, preferably as a CFO, Finance Director, or Senior Finance Manager.
- Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CMA, MBA in Finance, or an equivalent advanced degree are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, compliance, and regulatory frameworks relevant to Indian businesses.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing finance teams, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in tech, edtech, or digital product companies is a plus, along with familiarity with startup or high-growth environments.
