CFO
The Role:
We're seeking a strategic finance executive to lead Eastern Dental's financial operations and support our aggressive growth plans. As CFO, you'll be a key member of the executive team, shaping financial strategy, leading M&A activities, securing growth capital, and ensuring we have the financial foundation to scale responsibly. This is a high-impact role for someone who wants to build, not just maintain.
What You'll Do:
• Lead financial strategy and planning for a 20+ location dental organization with over 420,000 visits per year
• In collaboration with the CEO, provide clear and timely financial reports to the PE sponsor and respond to requests for information
• Oversee the Revenue Cycle Management team which is led by the VP of RCM
• Oversee Information Technology and manage the overall relationship with the outsourced MSP
• Monitor and maintain compliance with all lending obligations and covenants
• Drive M&A strategy— assist in identifying targets, lead financial due diligence, analyze and assist with negotiating deals, and integrate acquisitions from a financial and RCM perspective
• Partner with CEO and executive team on strategic decisions and organizational priorities
• Oversee financial operations, reporting, and controls across all locations
• Manage financial and information risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements
• Build and optimize financial systems, processes, and infrastructure to support growth
• Provide financial insights and analysis to guide business decisions
• Lead finance, accounting, FP&A, and Revenue Cycle Management teams
• Ensure financial performance meets or exceeds board and stakeholder expectations
What You Need:
• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, preferably in healthcare, dental, or multi-site service organizations
• Experience reporting to and working with Private Equity
• Experience working with Capitation insurance payors.
• Experience managing IT services
• Proven track record in M&A—deal sourcing, execution, and integration
• Strong strategic thinking with deep financial and operational expertise
• Strong presentation skills
• CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred
• Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning
• Understanding of healthcare finance, reimbursement, and regulatory environment
• Ability to build and lead high-performing finance teams
What Makes You Great for This:
• You're a strategic partner, not just a numbers person
• You've been through growth—M&A, expansions, integrations—and know what works
• You can evaluate opportunities quickly and make sound risk-adjusted decisions
• You build scalable systems and processes, not just patch problems
• You communicate financial concepts clearly to non-finance executives and boards
• You thrive in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments
• You balance entrepreneurial thinking with financial discipline
• You genuinely enjoy being part of a leadership team building something meaningful
