Role Purpose
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Solutions Architect who can own technical design and architecture for PROS B2B Smart CPQ and Smart Price Management implementations from day one. This is a client-facing, onsite role working directly alongside a Functional Consultant and an offshore delivery team. The candidate must be able to lead, not learn, on the core technology stack.
The Non-Negotiable Requirement:
Direct, hands-on experience with PROS Smart CPQ and Smart Price Management (SPM) is the hard filter for this role. A candidate without this cannot be considered regardless of their broader CPQ or Salesforce background.
· The customer has explicitly requested an architect with 5+ years of PROS application design experience
· PROS Smart CPQ and SPM have a distinct data model, pricing engine, and architecture that does not transfer directly from legacy Conga/Apttus, Salesforce CPQ, or other platforms
PROS Smart CPQ — Required
· hands-on design and architecture experience specifically in PROS Smart CPQ – Performance quoting preferred
· Deep knowledge of the PROS Smart CPQ data model — not just functional familiarity
· Proven ability to design complex quoting solutions including configurable products, attribute-based pricing, multi-tier approval workflows, and document generation
· Experience designing scalable Smart CPQ solutions for large enterprise B2B clients with complex product catalogs
· Hands-on configuration experience — not just oversight or project management
· Experience integrating Smart CPQ with CRM platforms (Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics) and downstream ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
PROS Smart Price Management (SPM) — Required
· Direct experience configuring and architecting SPM solutions — not general pricing experience
· Understanding of how SPM feeds real-time pricing into CPQ quoting workflows and the integration touchpoints involved
· Experience configuring pricing models, price lists, customer-specific pricing, and segment-based pricing within SPM
· Ability to design and implement floor pricing enforcement with dynamic approval routing
· Understanding of price waterfall design — list price, channel discounts, volume discounts, promotional adjustments — and how these stack within SPM
· Awareness of performance considerations when running real-time SPM pricing calls in high-volume CPQ environments
Solutions Architecture & Design — Required
· Ability to own the full architecture blueprint for quoting workflows and system integrations
· Experience producing clear, detailed technical design documentation aligned with client requirements
· Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical designs
· Track record of leading client-facing design sessions and requirements gathering workshops
· Experience validating implementation work against designed workflows throughout delivery
Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
