We're building out a team of superstar Virtual CFO's - We're currently at capacity and growing quickly and looking for an awesome Virtual Financial Controller or Virtual CFO Advisor to join our team.
As is industry standard - we offer a Base + Commission Structure.
Base - $100,000 + Super
Commission - 20% of Net Revenue from all clients directly managed
With a full support team eventually built up around this role, expectations of total Net Revenue under management sits between $600,000 and $1m for a Senior role, noting it does take time to build up to this level. We also offer increased commission percentages after hitting certain targets.

About this Unique Opportunity:
- Virtual CFO/Finance Manager role, hybrid with expectations for some time to be spent at our main office in Geelong VIC, offered as very flexible full-time or part-time.
- A distinctive position working alongside a Virtual CFO Advisor, assisting an extensive portfolio of rapidly growing clients across diverse industries.
- Ideal for an ambitious professional eager to transition from traditional accounting or a current SME Finance Manager/Controller role into high-impact financial advisory and CFO-level responsibilities.
- This role is ideal for someone already working as an SME Virtual CFO, or with expert Advisory/Accounting skills looking to make the transition over.

What You'll Do:
- Provide practical, hands-on financial management and strategic business advisory services.
- Act as the Virtual CFO Advisor for SME's by preparing insightful financial analyses, forecasting, reporting, and delivering strategic recommendations.
- Directly engage with clients, helping them navigate significant financial decisions, business expansions, and growth strategies.
- Develop and implement scalable financial plans tailored to individual business goals.
- Oversee/manage both our internal bookkeeping team, and guide our client's bookkeepers
- Collaborate closely with clients to improve profitability, cash flow, and overall financial health.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications
- Great people skills! This is a mostly client-facing role, you are their trusted CFO on call.
- Expert-level knowledge of Xero; familiarity with FathomHQ highly desirable.
- Strong experience in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis.
- Solid background in profitability optimization, management reporting, and financial advisory.
- Excellent leadership capabilities and collaborative mindset.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Relevant professional qualifications (CA or CPA preferred).
- Bonus points if you have strong M&A, Capital Raising, Due diligence and other skills, particularly with SME's.
