Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at SIPA Ply will lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities to support strategic business decisions. This full-time, on-site role based in Vishakhapatnam includes overseeing cash flow management, financial controls, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The CFO will collaborate closely with senior leadership to evaluate investments, manage risk, and optimize capital structure and profitability. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing finance and accounts teams, reviewing financial performance, preparing management reports, and engaging with banks, auditors, and key external stakeholders. The role also involves driving process improvements, implementing robust financial systems, and supporting long-term growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Proficiency in accounting standards, financial reporting, and compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in cash flow management, working capital optimization, and treasury operations.
- Demonstrated ability in financial analysis, risk management, and strategic decision support.
- Skilled in implementing and improving financial systems, ERP tools, and internal controls.
- Leadership experience in managing finance teams, developing talent, and fostering collaboration across departments.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills with banks, auditors, and partners.
- Relevant professional qualification such as CA, CMA, MBA in Finance, or equivalent.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or building materials sectors is highly beneficial.
- Proven track record in senior finance roles, preferably at CFO or equivalent level.
