Location: East Side- Manhattan
Position: Part-Time (25–30 hours per week, in-office)

Developer or Real Estate is a privately owned real estate development, investment, and hospitality company focused on multifamily, mixed-use, and hotel developments throughout New York City .
We are looking for a highly organized, technology-driven professional who enjoys solving problems, improving business processes, and implementing AI to help our company operate more efficiently.
This is not a traditional bookkeeping position. We are looking for someone who can maintain accurate financial records while continuously improving our operations through automation, technology, and better business systems.
ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Finance
· Manage the company's bookkeeping using QuickBooks.
· Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
· Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
· Prepare monthly financial reports.
· Coordinate with our outside CPA and tax professionals.
· Assist with lender reporting, construction draws, and project accounting.
Operations
· Improve and document company processes.
· Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, attorneys, lenders, and consultants.
· Track project budgets, schedules, and key milestones.
· Organize company documents and records.
· Build executive dashboards and reporting tools.
AI & Technology
· Identify opportunities to automate repetitive accounting and administrative tasks.
· Implement AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Google AI and workflow automation software.
· Improve document management and internal reporting. Must have understanding of real estate finance- and law.
· Recommend and implement technology that increases efficiency across the organization.
Qualifications
· 8 plus years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, finance, operations, or business administration.
· Strong QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel skills.
· Experience using AI tools to improve business productivity.
· Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
· Experience in real estate development, construction, hospitality, or property management is strongly preferred.
