About the Role
This is a true Founding GTM opportunity.
Today, the founders own every customer conversation—from sourcing leads and refining messaging to running demos and closing deals. They're looking for someone who wants to build that entire commercial engine alongside them.
This isn't a traditional SDR, Account Executive, or Growth Marketing role. You'll help define the go-to-market strategy, speak directly with customers, experiment across channels, close early revenue, and build the repeatable systems that scale the business.

What You'll Do
- Own the customer journey from prospecting through demo, negotiation, close, and customer feedback.
- Design and build the company's GTM operating system, including outbound strategy, messaging, CRM workflows, experimentation, and reporting.
- Engage founders and operators daily to understand customer pain points and validate product-market fit.
- Test and scale acquisition channels across outbound, founder communities, partnerships, events, referrals, and content.
- Partner closely with the founders on positioning, pricing, customer insights, and overall company strategy.
- Build repeatable sales processes that can scale as the business grows.
- Use AI tools to increase productivity across research, prospecting, messaging, analysis, and execution.
What We're Looking For
We're less interested in traditional titles and more interested in people who have demonstrated exceptional ownership and the ability to build.
You might have:
- Worked in an early-stage startup in Sales, Growth, Business Development, or Partnerships.
- Been a founder or built your own company, product, or side project.
- Helped launch a new market, business line, or commercial function.
- Built meaningful communities, products, or revenue from scratch.
Ideal Experience
- Experience running outbound sales, customer discovery, demos, partnerships, or early-stage GTM initiatives.
- Strong commercial instincts and the ability to communicate complex ideas simply.
- Excellent written communication, particularly for outbound messaging and positioning.
- Comfortable using data and experimentation to improve conversion rates and sales performance.
- High agency and a bias toward action in ambiguous environments.
- Passion for fintech, global payroll, international hiring, payments, or financial infrastructure.
- AI-native, with experience leveraging modern AI tools to work more effectively.
Location
- Based in San Francisco.
- In-office 3–4 days per week with the founding team.
Compensation
- Base salary: $130,000–$170,000
- Performance bonus
- Meaningful early-stage equity
Work Authorization
Applicants must have existing U.S. work authorization to work in the United States. Canadian visa sponsorship may be available for candidates hired to work from Canada.
