Chief Financial Officer:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) provides executive leadership and strategic direction for all financial operations of Sheridan Memoorial Hospital Association (SMHA), a Critical Access Hospital serving the rural community of Plentywood, Montana. The CFO ensures the delivery of quality, cost effective health care services in allignment with the mission, vision, values, and goals of SMHA. This role encompasses oversight of finance, accounting, revenue cycle management, reimbursement, payroll, supply chain, budgeting, and related operations, the CFO serves as a key member of the executive leadership team, partnering with the CEO and Board to drive financial sustainability, stragegic planning, regulatory compliance, and long-term viability in a challenging rural healthcare environment typical of a Critical Access Hospital.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required
- Master’s degree in business or healthcare administration and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 3 years of CFO or Director of Finance level in a healthcare setting
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
