About the Role:
We are looking for a commercially minded, analytical and proactive Assistant Manager, Go-To-Market (GTM) to join our growing Business Operations team.
This role plays a key part in supporting the successful launch and commercial performance of ZEEKR products in Australia. Working closely with Headquarters and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to go-to-market planning, product launches, sales performance analysis, market intelligence and strategic business initiatives.
Beyond traditional reporting and analysis, this role combines commercial insights with project coordination and business planning to support effective decision-making and successful execution. You will partner with multiple stakeholders, drive cross-functional collaboration and help deliver business outcomes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities:
GTM Planning & Product Launch Management
- Support the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for new product launches and lifecycle activities in Australia.
- Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across Sales, Marketing, Product, Retail Operations, Aftersales, Finance and Network Development teams to ensure successful launch execution.
- Track key GTM milestones, deliverables, risks and dependencies, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Support the preparation of launch plans, management reports, dealer communications and executive presentations.
Sales Performance Analysis & Business Insights
- Conduct regular analysis of vehicle sales performance, retail deliveries, order intake, conversion rates and customer trends across the Australian market.
- Develop weekly, monthly and quarterly sales performance reports with actionable recommendations to support business growth.
- Monitor dealer performance and identify opportunities to improve sales effectiveness, product mix and regional performance.
- Support sales forecasting, demand planning and business planning activities for current and future product programs.
- Analyse customer demographics, purchasing behaviour and market trends to support commercial decision-making.
- Support dealer launch readiness, including launch materials, retail readiness and coordination with dealer network.
- Support annual business planning, sales target setting, volume planning and commercial forecasting activities to support business objectives.
Competitor Intelligence & Market Analysis
- Conduct ongoing competitor analysis covering product specifications, pricing strategies, sales performance, customer offers, marketing activities and launch programs across the Australian automotive and EV markets.
- Benchmark ZEEKR products against key competitors and identify market opportunities and potential risks.
- Prepare regular competitor intelligence reports and strategic insights for local management and Headquarters.
- Monitor industry developments, government policies, EV market trends and emerging technologies to support business strategy.
- Provide recommendations on product positioning, customer value propositions and GTM initiatives based on market insights.
- Conduct commercial benchmarking across competitor pricing, customer offers, retail campaigns, financing programs and market initiatives to support commercial decision-making.
- Analyse customer feedback, purchase drivers and sales conversion insights to identify opportunities to improve customer experience and GTM effectiveness.
GTM Tracking Dashboard & Cross-functional Data Management
- Ensure data consistency, reporting accuracy and timely delivery of business insights across multiple departments.
- Drive data transparency and support a data-driven decision-making culture throughout the organisation.
- Continuously improve reporting processes and dashboard capabilities to enhance operational efficiency and management visibility.
Project Management & Cross-functional Coordination
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to support GTM initiatives, product launches and strategic projects.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, track actions and ensure alignment across multiple business functions.
- Work closely with Headquarters and local teams to ensure timely execution of key business priorities and launch activities.
- Support the preparation of management presentations, business reviews and executive reporting materials.
- Act as a key liaison between Headquarters and local cross-functional teams for GTM planning, reporting and execution.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in automotive, consumer products, consulting, sales operations, strategy or GTM-related functions.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in sales performance analysis, business reporting and market research.
- Experience conducting competitor analysis and market intelligence activities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience using Power BI, Tableau or other business intelligence tools is preferred.
- Strong project management, stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Automotive or EV industry experience is highly desirable.
