Two Crow Collective is a small-batch, tattoo-inspired apparel brand rooted deeply in alternative culture, and creative storytelling. We build community around shared human experiences by amplifying unfiltered stories through wearable art. Our main artistic focus is on mental health, chronic illness, and invisible battles that people fight in their daily lives. The workplace is inherently a DIY, artistic hub with a very large human creative team including 11 artists, which is strictly against generative AI.
This Business Operations Lead role is designed for a high-agency professional who understands how to build structure and operational frameworks within an already established creative business.
Note from Owner:
I'm not your normal business owner, I've stumbled and fumbled my way into building something beautiful and I am looking for someone to take my big ideas and help execute them across all avenues of our business. We have an ecommerce brand & storefront, we have B2B warehouse servicing clients and customers, we have a major digital footprint for content & branding, and we need someone to be able to take everything in and make it all happen. Ready to take on the world with me?
Duties
- Sitting in on all our meetings with artists, media, and production. You’ll take great notes so you can learn exactly how our brand works from the inside out.
- Cleaning up and running our digital project boards and calendars so our creative process actually lines up with our production and warehouse schedules.
- Taking over the office schedule and helping coordinate how the teams communicate so we stay aligned across all avenues.
- Turning our brainstorms into clear next steps so everyone leaves the room knowing exactly what they need to do next.
- Keeping our team on schedule without making this feel like a desk job.
- You are the owners right-hand person, hopping on any small or large tasks Two Crow needs in the moment. Customer Service? check. Vendor Issues? Check. Creative design feedback? Check. You don't need a handbook, you are the handbook.
Who we are really looking for:
- You are curious, analytical, assertive, want to solve big complex problems.
- You love answering the "Why?"
- Data is your best friend, it leads your path.
- Your schedule is your road map. You see how a delay in one department creates a messy domino effect for the next.
- You grew up going to Hot Topic, you skated at the local park, you followed your favorite touring band, etc. You understand that people are all wildly different and you celebrate that.
- You naturally treat the business like it’s your own baby. You genuinely care about protecting our timelines, budgets, and overall momentum.
- No fear of jumping into the unknown to learn something, or solve a problem at hand. You have a natural drive & get it done mentality.
- You aren't afraid to tell me "like it is" or respectfully push back if a wild creative idea risks derailing a massive warehouse deadline.
- You have a knack for solving problems before they are problems.
- You can easily lead collaborative talks with our creative staff to figure out the pros and cons of a project
- You have no problem jumping on the phone with a customer to solve a shipping issue or handling customer service type inquiries as they arise.
- You’ve spent time working in a clothing boutique, an e-commerce fulfillment setup, or a screen printing shop.
- You don't need to be a software engineer, but you pick up digital project management boards, calendars, and spreadsheets quickly.
