A day in the life of a Sales Operation Executive looks a little like this.
You support the sales team by making sure orders, data, and day‑to‑day operations run smoothly. You’ll manage sales orders from start to finish, keep systems accurate, and help the team stay on track with timelines and commitments. At the same time, you’ll work across teams like Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Service and Marketing to resolve issues and keep everything moving.
This role combines coordination, data handling, and analysis. You’ll turn sales data into useful insights, support planning activities, and look for ways to improve how the sales function operates.

Sales Order Management
- Prepare order forms for seasonal and monthly buys; manage image downloads.
- Process sales orders from initiation through to fulfillment
- Track order progress and ensure timely updates across systems
- Maintain a high level of accuracy in order entry
- Work with Customer Service and Supply Chain teams to resolve order issues and delays
- Collaborate with Supply Planning and Distributors for buy reviews.
Data Management
- Maintain and update customer and sales data in systems
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency for reporting purposes
- Support ongoing data cleanup and system updates
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare regular sales reports, including performance tracking and order status.
- Prepare seasonal order books for customers, ensuring accurate consolidation of order details for review and follow-up.
Master Data Management
- Partner with Customers, Sales Team, and Data Master Team for customer master creation and maintenance in the system.
- Ensure pricing accuracy in the system.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, and other teams to support sales initiatives
- Ensure alignment across teams for smooth execution
Managing Timelines
- Monitor key deadlines and track progress across tasks
- Flag risks early and communicate any delays
- Help keep projects on schedule through clear follow‑up and coordination
