Operations Manager – Sales Operations & International Trade

Are you a hands-on Operations Manager who thrives at the intersection of sales, finance, and logistics? Our client, a growing European manufacturer with a U.S. presence, is seeking a dynamic leader to oversee U.S. operations and serve as a key liaison between headquarters, customers, sales teams, and external partners.
This is a high-impact role for someone who understands how to run a U.S. business within a global organization while driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and commercial success.
What You'll Do
- Partner with U.S. leadership, European HQ, and Sales to ensure seamless business operations
- Lead sales operations, order management, and customer support processes
- Manage import/export activities, shipping documentation, contracts, invoicing, and compliance requirements
- Oversee budgeting, expense control, reporting, procurement, and financial coordination with HQ
- Monitor customer credit exposure, collections support, and financial reconciliations
- Resolve complex customer issues and improve operational workflows
- Support marketing initiatives, payroll coordination, and cross-functional business projects
What We're Looking For
- Sales Operations or Commercial Operations leadership experience
- Import/export experience, preferably working with European products or manufacturers
- Strong understanding of international logistics, shipping documentation, and trade compliance
- ERP and CRM experience, advanced Excel and reporting capabilities
- Financial acumen with experience supporting budgeting and operational reporting
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across international teams
