Job Title: Business Systems Analyst (Business Process & CPQ Implementation)
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid - 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Schedule: Monday-Friday | Full-Time
Contract Duration: W2 Approx 12 Months
Hourly Pay: $60.00-$72.00/hr DOE
Position Overview
We're looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support a large-scale enterprise CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) implementation. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders, IT, project teams, and third-party vendors to gather requirements, improve business processes, and help deliver a new enterprise quoting solution.
This is a highly collaborative role focused on understanding how the business operates, documenting requirements, supporting system design, and ensuring solutions are thoroughly tested before implementation. Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements for technical teams and implementation partners.
- Develop business specifications, user stories, process documentation, and workflow maps.
- Facilitate requirement gathering sessions and business process reviews.
- Review functional designs to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and business validation activities.
- Create and execute test scenarios while tracking issues through resolution.
- Validate end-to-end business processes and recommend process improvements.
- Work closely with business users, IT, project managers, and third-party vendors throughout the implementation.
- Provide regular updates on project deliverables, risks, and progress.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise applications.
- Strong experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Experience translating business needs into functional specifications.
- Strong business process analysis and process mapping skills.
- Experience supporting enterprise software implementations.
- Hands-on experience with SIT, UAT, and business validation testing.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Quote-to-Cash or quoting business processes.
- Exposure to CPQ platforms or enterprise quoting systems.
- SAP ERP experience.
- Experience creating user stories and workflow documentation.
- Experience working with cross-functional business and IT teams.
