Our Values at Gameday Social
Grit | We’re hungry, we hustle, we pivot. We’re still at the stage where everyone has to pitch in at the warehouse on occasion. No egos.
Pursuing excellence | Getting better every day- moving swiftly when adjustments need to be made.
Team orientation | We view our coworkers, customers and vendors as partners. Transparent and cross-functional is how we work.
Boldly innovative | We didn’t get here with a “this is how it’s done” mindset. We welcome ideas, creativity and we embrace obstacles as opportunities.
Nimble | Our ability to chase trends and move quickly has led to our success, but also means very little is concrete. We aim to preserve this agility as we grow and look for people who can thrive when things are moving quickly.
Our Team & Success | Gameday Social is a South Dakota based fashion brand- for women, by women. Founded by Jael Thorpe in 2021, and an officially certified woman-owned company, we aim to “elevate the social fan experience through licensed collaborations.” We have grown rapidly through innovative design, outstanding quality and developing key retailer and licensing relationships across the country.
Role Overview
We are looking for an organized, high-energy
Sales Operations Coordinator to serve as the backbone of our sales team and the friendly face of our customer service.
In this role, you will play two critical parts: year-round, you’ll keep our sales engine running seamlessly behind the scenes through precise data management, order entry, and logistics tracking. During our peak sprint seasons, you’ll step onto the front lines to deliver high-touch customer support—using every client interaction as an opportunity to build trust, solve problems, and drive revenue through proactive upselling and reorders.
Key Responsibilities1. Customer Service & Revenue Generation (Sprint & Peak Support)
- High-Touch Support: Provide fast, friendly, and solution-oriented service to customers via phone, email, and chat during our busy sprint seasons.
- Turn Support into Revenue: Actively listen to customer needs during routine inquiries to spot cross-sell and reorder opportunities.
- Proactive Follow-Ups: Reach out to existing accounts for timely reorders, inventory checks, and new product offerings.
- Issue Resolution: Handle customer feedback and order friction with tact, turning potential problems into long-term loyalty.
2. Back-End Sales Operations (Year-Round)
- Order Management: Process and verify daily customer orders into our ERP/CRM system with zero-defect accuracy.
- Onboarding: Ensure new retailers are onboarded promptly, ingest new retailer guides to ensure fulfillment success.
- Product Setup: Manage SKU creation, UPC assignments, pricing tiers, and retailer compliance across numerous retailer channels.
- Data & Compliance: Manage EDI data flow to ensure that the fulfillment team has all information promptly in order to maintain deadlines.
- Proactive Communication: Track order fulfillment and immediately inform customers and Account Managers of shipping delays, inventory shortages, or production updates.
- Accounts Receivable: Work closely with finance to handle followups with past-due accounts, and proactively secure credit card authorizations for pre-paid accounts.
3. Account Manager Support
- Strategic Account Support: Act as a dedicated operational partner to Senior Account Managers, proactively managing account portfolio health by tracking order milestones, reorder triggers and ensuring custom program requirements are met.
- Cross-Department Liaison: Serve as a main bridge between sales, warehouse logistics, and finance to ensure smooth order execution.
- Targeted Reporting: Assist AMs in auditing their specific account performance, pulling tailored reports to identify growth opportunities and potential gaps in reorders.
- Data Reporting: Pull monthly sales, order status, and customer activity reports to help Account Managers spot account growth opportunities.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 2+ years in sales support, sales operations, or high-volume customer service (wholesale, distribution, or e-commerce background is a major plus).
- Detail Obsessed: Exceptional accuracy when working with UPCs, SKUs, pricing sheets, and system order entry.
- Commercial Mindset: A personable, confident communicator who sees customer service as a sales channel and naturally seeks ways to add value and drive incremental revenue.
- Proactive Communicator: You don't hide behind email when there’s a delay; you pick up the phone, set expectations, and solve the problem.
- Tech Proficiency: Hands-on experience with CRMs, ERP systems, and intermediate Excel skills (data entry, filtering, AI analytics tools)
