ArchiMed is a healthcare-focused private equity firm investing across Europe, North America and Asia. We are currently recruiting a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for one of our portfolio companies.
As a key member of the Executive Committee (COMEX) and reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's strategic direction and driving financial performance. He/she will act as a trusted business partner to the leadership team and shareholders, contributing to the company's transformation, operational performance and long-term value creation.
Key responsibilities

Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in line with its business objectives and growth ambitions,

Lead the finance function — a team of seven across controlling and accounting — with oversight of treasury, tax, internal control and financial reporting,

Drive budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning and performance management,

Provide the analysis and recommendations supporting executive and board-level decisions,

Partner with business leaders to enhance operational performance, profitability and resource allocation,

Ensure effective cash flow management, capital structure optimisation and financing strategy,

Manage relationships with shareholders, investors, banks, auditors and external advisors,

Support strategic initiatives including transformation, international expansion, acquisitions and integrations,

Strengthen governance, financial processes, systems and business intelligence capabilities.
Requirements

Significant experience in corporate finance, controlling or FP&A, including in a Finance Director or CFO capacity; experience within a private equity-backed company will be highly valued,

Strong expertise in financial planning, performance management, financial modelling and corporate finance,

Proven track record of partnering with executive leadership teams on strategic and operational matters, and of leading transformation across systems, processes and people,

Hands-on: a lean finance team, where the CFO builds the model as well as presenting it,

Advanced proficiency in Excel, ERP systems and business intelligence solutions,

International experience is a plus; fluent English is essential. Reporting to shareholders and the board is conducted in English; additional languages are an asset.
