Responsibilities

- Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and industry-specific financial regulations.
- Oversee financial reporting, auditing processes, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards for financial compliance.
- Drive mergers & acquisitions activities by conducting due diligence, valuation analyses, and integration planning to maximize value.
- Utilize advanced spreadsheets and financial software to analyze data, prepare reports, and monitor key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with internal teams on project management efforts related to finance initiatives and process improvements.
- Maintain strong client communication by providing transparent financial insights and fostering trust across stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in finance or accounting roles with demonstrated progression into senior leadership positions such as CFO or equivalent.
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP, tax accounting principles, and industry-specific financial regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel spreadsheets, along with familiarity with various financial software platforms.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to develop complex financial models and interpret large data sets effectively.
- Experience managing mergers & acquisitions processes from due diligence through integration.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams efficiently.
