Our client is Hong Kong listed company and currently looking for a highly qualified finance professional to fill the Chief Financial Officer position to be based in the US.
Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Vice President, serve as a core member of the executive management team. Provide full leadership over financial strategy, financial operations, treasury, risk management and capital structure optimisation;
- Oversees US listing compliance and capital markets activities, ensuring financial management is both efficient and fully compliant;
- Formulate and execute the group's financial strategy to ensure a robust and compliant financial framework that supports long‑term growth; optimise financial systems from a capital market perspective;
- Lead all aspects of financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, auditing and financial reporting; ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions and reporting;
- Oversee treasury functions to optimise capital efficiency and safeguard liquidity; establish an enterprise‑wide risk management framework to identify and mitigate key;
- Drive investment and financing strategies; participate in major M&A, capital restructuring and fundraising projects, providing expert decision support; optimise capital structure and shareholder return policies;
- Ensure financial reporting and disclosures comply with US Listing Rules and other regulatory requirements; manage cross‑border compliance including overseas listing;
- Build and mentor a high‑performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration;
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, investors, auditors and regulators
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields; MBA preferred;
- 10‑15+ years of finance management experience; minimum 5 years in a senior finance leadership role (CFO or Financial Controller) within a US listed company;; full or significant involvement in a US IPO process is a distinct advantage;
- Expertise in financial strategy, treasury, tax planning and risk control;
- In‑depth knowledge of NYSE Listing Rules, disclosure requirements and IFRS, US GAAP;
- Familiar with overseas listing filing processes for domestic enterprises and Red Chip/VIE structures;
- Global perspective and cross‑border financial management capabilities;
- Fluent in both Mandarin and English for high‑level business communication is a MUST
