This is a great opportunity for a strategic and hands-on financial executive to join the executive leadership team of a modern behavioral health hospital dedicated to delivering high-quality psychiatric care. The CFO will partner closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to drive financial performance, operational excellence, and long-term organizational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic financial leadership for the hospital.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and financial reporting.
- Oversee accounting, revenue cycle, cash management, internal controls, and compliance.
- Partner with executive and operational leaders to improve financial performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Develop financial strategies that support organizational goals and sustainable growth.
- Analyze key performance indicators and provide actionable financial insights.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous CFO or senior finance leadership experience in an acute care hospital or behavioral health setting strongly preferred.
- Behavioral health experience highly desired.
- Strong knowledge of hospital finance, reimbursement, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Demonstrated success partnering with operations to improve financial and operational performance.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; MBA, MHA, or CPA preferred.
