The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is crucial in the management and improvement of revenue-generating operations (i.e., sales, marketing and overall customer service). The CRO’s success is measured by his/her ability to create sustained revenue growth and an effective customer and buyer experience. Leveraging knowledge of the roles both sales and marketing play in driving growth, the CRO will hold ultimate accountability in aligning all revenue-generating departments and building strategic partnerships.
The CRO ensures aligned internal Sales and Marketing communication, collaboration and content creation so that all messaging appropriately fits and reaches Bluebird’s target audience.
The CRO is a member of the Executive Team and is expected to provide key guidance and leadership for the organization.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Builds alliances and collaborations internally and externally to increase the likelihood of higher profitability and company success

Partners with other members of the executive team to execute the current corporate strategic plan, and develop future plans

Identifies and delivers new revenueopportunities in the Bluebird market and in the telecommunications industry as a whole

Ensure a performance, strategy and alignment of the organization’s revenue-generating departments

Lead the Sales teams to drive business growth across all customer segments and profiles, and share accountability with the Marketing function for improving the individual customer experience

Maximizes reach and efficiency by adding new, scalable partners in a strategic way

Monitors the revenue pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary to create sustainable growth

Assesses the market, analyzing opportunities, providing competitive analysis, strategies and tactics

Collaborates with the Sales leadership team on pricing strategies and business models to attain higher revenue goals.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participates in contract negotiations

Attends/participates in Company-sponsored events that promote Bluebird’s products and services
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree required
- 10+ years in fiber based telecommunication leadership roles, driving and implementing revenue growth

Proven experience developing and executing business strategy
-
Strong enterprise sales leadership preferred
