Job Description:
The Deal Desk Analyst partners with the Direct and Indirect Sales Teams team to facilitate the generation of quotes, and agreements to ensure proper handoff to Order Management in a timely manner.
This role will provide administrative support to Sales and work with cross functional business partners to ensure overall data quality and efficiency.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support to the direct and indirect Sales Team assigned as deal desk person to a designated sales region assisting with new quotes and amendments to streamline sales cycles with positive throughput to order activation.
- Develop and maintain positive internal business partner relationships with various functions inside the company to ensure customer requests are handled properly.
- Assist in processing orders by accurately generating contracts, entering data into Salesforce, and configuring orders accurately in.
- Liaise between Sales, Legal, Customer Success, Renewal Management and Order Management to ensure contracts are provided to the customers and prospects in a timely manner.
- Monitor status of all opportunities to ensure data captured in the CRM is complete and accurate.
- Perform various administrative duties and support in other departments when needed.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales, pricing, deal desk, or sales operations or analytics role
- Preferably a Bachelor’s Degree, ideally Business administration, finance / accounting, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous work experience in a sales or customer service-oriented role preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce required.
- Experience with Oracle, Workday, CPQ a plus.
