Chief Financial Officer
Location: Remote (Travel approximately 5 days per month)
Compensation: $270,000 - $320,000
Preferred Location: Candidates based in California are strongly preferred
The executive leadership team is expanding and seeking an exceptional Chief Financial Officer to join the organization during a pivotal stage of growth. This role is reserved for accomplished finance executives who have successfully led public company finance organizations and possess the strategic vision to scale a global technology business. This is a highly selective search and only candidates meeting all mandatory qualifications will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO and Board to define and execute the company's long-term financial strategy while leading all global finance functions including Accounting Financial Reporting FP&A Treasury Tax Investor Relations Internal Audit Compliance and Corporate Development with accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with SEC GAAP SOX 404 and regulatory reporting requirements while serving as the primary financial representative with investors external auditors legal counsel banking partners and the Board of Directors
- Lead strategic capital allocation fundraising acquisitions debt financing secondary offerings and capital markets initiatives while developing scalable financial infrastructure to support rapid domestic and international expansion
- Build and mentor a world-class finance organization while driving operational excellence shareholder value and sound corporate governance across a fast-paced founder-led technology-driven environment
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA preferred; active CPA designation required with Big Four public accounting foundation required
- Current Chief Financial Officer of a publicly traded NYSE or NASDAQ company with 10+ years of progressive finance and executive leadership experience in a public technology AI robotics software semiconductor advanced manufacturing or high-growth innovation company
- Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
- Extensive SEC reporting experience including Forms 10-K 10-Q 8-K Proxy Statements and earnings releases with deep expertise in SOX 404 compliance internal controls corporate governance enterprise risk management and demonstrated success leading IPOs secondary offerings capital raises and M&A transactions
