About The Sales Operations Team
The Sales Operations team enables the end-to-end sales experience for all prospects across the Platforms and Enterprise products line of business. We build and manage the tools and sales process used by the sales teams associated with each product line. We sit at the center of our commercial and functional teams to build the deal approval process and reduce the time to revenue for our products and services.
The team operates on an agile methodology to optimize the sales process, rapidly enabling enhancements, and then reporting out on sales performance to both executives and sales leaders. The interconnectivity of sales performance management with our underlying systems and processes allows the team to continuously adjust to changing commercial needs.
As we start this journey to grow the Platforms and Enterprise Products line of business, the team is responsible for building the capabilities meant to bring our commercial teams together onto a single unified set of processes and tools and set the strategy for future sales motions.
What will you be doing:
- You will participate in the continued building of our Sales Operations function, building and implementing our sales process and overseeing the harmonization of different sales reporting to unified set of priority metrics, building the right vehicles to deliver fact-based insights to business leaders, and working across technical systems to build a single data repository and automated reporting methods.
- You will act as an integral resource for sales performance and aid in the creation and delivery of Senior Executive and Board materials pertaining to sales performance.
What you bring:
- 4-5 years in B2B SaaS (Sales operations or other operational roles), Strategy Consulting or related field
- 2+ years of people management; clear skills in coaching and developing more junior members of a team
- Strong analytical skills, with ability to understand nuances across metrics and ability to build commercial story around data
- Clear, proactive communicator (both written and verbal); able to listen and work well with others while being confident and assertive where required
- Significant experience engaging business executives on a strategic level
- Quick ability to learn new and potentially technical topics, and then communicate this technical detail in a clear and simple way to a range of audiences
- Proactive and strategic thinker, able to look ahead and foresee issues and plan around them
- Commercially focused, with a desire to drive great outcomes for the business
- Excellent organizational skills; able to coordinate across multiple projects and stay on top of details
- Clearly demonstrated ability to build and leverage strong networks, both internally and externally
Added Bonus if you have:
- Technical expertise in one of our Fintech (Embedded Finance, Banking As A Service, B2B Payments, Fraud/Risk, Core Banking, Payments)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce CRM systems (technical knowledge not required)
- Experience in a cross-functional role requiring alignment across different senior parties

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $138,600.00 - $232,850.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
