Description:
The Sales Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in optimizing the efficiency of our sales team. Your key responsibility is to ensure the Field Sales team succeeds with their customers by providing sales operational support. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll ensure alignment between the sales, marketing, operations, and financial departments to achieve organizational objectives. This role requires a customer-first mentality, high attention to detail, and proactiveness to drive success in a fast-paced sales environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the creation, and organization of key sales and marketing assets (spec sheets, product images, sell sheets, marketing collateral).
- Maintain a library of key internal resources such as certifications, ingredient lists, product images, spec sheets and other key sales marketing materials.
- Ensure product content syndication across multiple platforms.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on projects supporting field sales (national food shows, demos, and product collateral).
- Be the point of contact with the operations team for all field sales matters (first-ship dates, PO timing, shipping logistics).
- Manage and coordinate special events to include demos, facility tours, and other retailer functions.
- Complete monthly sales reports
- Administrative ownership of new item and customer setup processes and portal registration/management
- Sample request processing
- Sales data process improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred (or comparable experience).
- 1+ years of working experience in a sales support role.
- Previous experience in a sales communication and/or sales support role (preferable for a consumer product goods company).
- Understanding of the basic terms and practices of CPG sales.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- Experience using Quickbooks and MS Office including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. Proficiency with Excel preferred.
- Strong collaboration and personal interaction skills.

- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated sales and/or analytical experience managing multiple priorities required.

Pay: $40,500.00 - $55,000.00 per year
