About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Fractional CFO to provide strategic financial leadership across multiple international entities. This role is ideal for someone who has built and scaled finance functions in global businesses and can partner closely with founders on financial planning, forecasting, compliance, and long-term business strategy.
The ideal candidate must have experience managing US entities, with additional experience across Hong Kong and other international jurisdictions being a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall finance function across multiple international entities.
- Own financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Develop financial models to support strategic business decisions and growth initiatives.
- Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Oversee accounting operations, tax compliance, audits, and statutory filings.
- Manage relationships with external accountants, auditors, banks, and legal advisors.
- Build and improve financial controls, reporting processes, and internal governance.
- Advise founders on capital allocation, profitability, fundraising, and financial strategy.
- Ensure compliance across all operating jurisdictions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting, or Corporate Finance.
- Prior experience as a CFO, Head of Finance, or Fractional CFO.
- Mandatory: Experience managing US legal entities and financial operations.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, taxation, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Experience working with startups, high-growth companies, or multinational businesses.
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, treasury, and financial controls.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience managing finance for Hong Kong entities.
- Experience across additional international jurisdictions such as Singapore, the UK, UAE, or Europe.
- Exposure to venture-backed startups, fundraising, and investor reporting.
- Experience implementing or improving ERP/accounting systems and financial processes.
