Title: Chief Financial Officer
A client of ours is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to serve as the organization's senior financial leader and a key member of the executive leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will oversee all financial operations, lead strategic planning initiatives, and provide the financial leadership necessary to support continued growth and future acquisitions

Key Responsibilities.
Financial Leadership & Reporting
- Oversee all financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Establish and maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and procedures in accordance with GAAP.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, long-range planning, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Manage relationships with banking partners, lenders, and external auditors.
Strategic Planning & Corporate Development
- Partner with executive leadership to establish financial strategy, capital allocation priorities, and long-term growth initiatives.
- Lead financial due diligence, acquisition integration, and post-acquisition performance reporting.
- Evaluate capital investments and business opportunities through detailed financial modeling and analysis.
Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
- Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and working capital, including inventory, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, and financing strategies.
- Develop strategies to manage commodity pricing exposure and financial risk
Operations Finance
- Partner with operations, sales, and purchasing to improve margins and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop pricing analytics and profitability reporting by product, customer, and market,
- Support inventory planning and financial performance initiatives.
Leadership & Systems
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate and enhance financial systems, ERP capabilities, and reporting tools to support future growth
- Ensure compliance with all applicable financial, tax, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including at least 3 years in a senior finance leadership role.
- Experience within manufacturing, distribution, industrial, or other asset-intensive environments.
- Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and strategic financial planning.
- Experience managing banking relationships, financing arrangements, and capital structure.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred
- Experience leading mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and post-acquisition integration.
- Knowledge of commodity-based or distribution businesses.
- ERP implementation or financial systems optimization experience.
- Experience working within a privately held or entrepreneurially managed organization.
