We are conducting a confidential search for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join an established manufacturing organization. This is a senior leadership role for a hands-on, strategic finance executive who can serve as a trusted partner to the CEO and broader leadership team while overseeing the organization's financial operations and supporting long-term growth.
The CFO will lead financial planning, accounting, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, audit, tax, credit and collections, and related financial activities. The role will also evaluate the financial impact of operational and strategic initiatives, maintain relationships with financial institutions and outside advisors, and support the evaluation of potential acquisitions and partnership opportunities.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead the organization's accounting, finance, treasury, budgeting and forecasting functions.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and maintain strong accounting controls and systems.
- Assess financial performance, liquidity and overall financial condition while providing actionable insights to leadership.
- Partner with operational leaders to understand business performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency and long-term results.
- Lead annual budgeting and long-range financial planning.
- Oversee tax, audit, insurance and relationships with banking and other external financial partners.
- Evaluate the financial implications of strategic initiatives, acquisitions and partnership opportunities.
- Provide leadership and development to the accounting and finance organization.
- Provide executive oversight of Human Resources and Information Technology functions.
- Promote accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement and a strong organizational culture.
The successful candidate will be an accomplished financial leader with the ability to operate both strategically and hands-on. The position requires significant finance and accounting leadership experience, with the ability to lead teams, improve processes and systems, and communicate effectively across an organization.
A CPA, master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred, along with 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
