Job purpose:
The oversight and management of the Inside Sales Team and facilitation of all existing sales opportunities at Cream Co. As the Inside Sales Manager, this role is also responsible for the performance of Inside Sales & Order Entry. The Inside Sales Team is responsible for the successful integration of newly onboarded customers and the retention and expansion of existing accounts.
Train and assist the Inside Sales Team to build, maintain, and increase product mixes by providing exceptional customer service. Train and assist the Inside Sales Team to troubleshoot inventory and customer concerns to find appropriate product substitutions when out of stock.
- The ISM will be the primary day-to-day contact for the Operations Team with regards to all sales matters.
- The ISM will ensure the proper day-to-day use of the Order Entry Tech Stack & CRM at the direction of the Sales Operations Manager.
- The ISM will review all sales and inventory movement and will work with the Purchasing Team to ensure items are stocked in full and on time.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Train, oversee, and provide assistance to all members of the Inside Sales Team to ensure seamless and accurate communication between customers, the Sales Team and all cross functional team members.
- Consistently oversee, evaluate, and train the Inside Sales Team members to execute their duties in the most consistent and efficient methods.
- Delegate duties related to order entry to maintain 100% on-time and in-full delivery of all products
- Oversee and participate as needed in the administration of Cream Co.’s Order Management Tools
- ISM is responsible for pre-shipment and post-shipment pricing review. Ensure all invoices are sent by EOD without exception, as well as maintaining up-to-date price keys in NS.
- Create and maintain open and constructive lines of communication with all customers to ensure the efficient and beneficial flow of product
- Solve complex account management and customer service issues
- Work independently and with the Sales Operations Manager to deploy creative solutions to product shortages and program shortfalls with the customers’ best interests in mind
- Oversee, evaluate, and assist with perpetual execution of weekly outbound account management calls, emails, texts etc. to confirm and validate orders.
- Responsible for reporting account management activities (including but not limited to: product mix considerations, customer service issues, account attrition, quality control issues, etc.) to the team via regular meetings, standardized email updates, and other means.
- ISM may be required to enter incoming orders via NetSuite (NS) & the Cream Co. App (CCA)
- Manage division of labor among members of the Inside Sales Team to ensure all work is finished in a timely manner
- ISM is ultimately responsible for the review of all completed orders to ensure accuracy of delivered products
- ISM is ultimately responsible for integrating new customers by working closely with the Administrative Team + Heads of Business Development to add customers into the regular workflow.
- ISM is ultimately responsible for maintaining up-to-date customer records across all sales systems (ERP, CRMs, etc)
- Interpret complex business documents–including customer purchase orders, contracts, and agreements–in order to accurately enter and manage orders according to customer requirements
- Review week-over-week Sales and report any account discrepancies and attrition to the Sales Operations Manager.
- Investigate, coordinate, and resolve order issues, working cross-functionally to resolve problems
Please Note: This position often requires work hours more in line with customers’ ordering habits, so holidays/time off may be at different times, in lieu of time off that the rest of the company may be taking, or may not be available at certain times of the year.
