Business Systems Analyst
On-Site| Government Client Support | Top Secret Clearance Required
About this Role
TechPride is seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support operational mission and strategic support activities for a Government Client in Clarksburg, West Virginia with an on site requirement of five days a week. The analyst serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, supporting system-to-system data exchanges, business process improvement, requirements management, and Agile delivery activities.
This role requires a collaborative professional who can translate business needs into technical requirements, facilitate stakeholder engagement, and ensure technology solutions align with mission objectives, regulatory requirements, and program goals.
In addition, the position supports the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of secure web service and SFTP data connections, manages identity and access controls, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient data integration across enterprise systems. The incumbent leverages expertise in systems integration, data mapping, APIs, REST/SOAP services, and identity management technologies while maintaining project documentation, supporting testing activities, and resolving operational issues throughout the solution lifecycle.
What You Will Get to Do
- Serve as the primary point of coordination between business stakeholders and IT development teams for technology solutions and data exchange initiatives.
- Elicit, analyze, document, and manage business and functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data requirements, and technical specifications.
- Facilitate SAFe Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Manage and track epics, features, user stories, tasks, and defects using Jira and Confluence.
- Perform business process analysis, workflow mapping, and requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate data mapping, system integration activities, validation testing, and solution implementation efforts.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, process documentation, reports, briefing materials, dashboards, and project artifacts.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve process, integration, and system-related issues.
- Provide project status updates, leadership briefings, and recommendations that support informed decision-making.
- Implement, support, and maintain secure web service and SFTP data connections, ensuring reliable system-to-system information exchange while troubleshooting connectivity, authentication, and data transmission issues.
- Manage user access and identity administration activities, leveraging IAM, SAML, LDAP, PKI, and cloud-based technologies to support secure authentication, authorization, and integration operations across enterprise environments
What We Are Looking For - Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Information Technology, Management, or related field.
- 3+ years of business analysis, systems analysis, or IT project support experience.
- Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements.
- Knowledge of systems integration, data mapping, business process analysis, and requirements traceability.
- Experience supporting Agile or SAFe Agile teams and ceremonies.
- Experience using Jira and Confluence for project tracking and collaboration.
- Strong analytical, facilitation, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- US Citizenship and ability to maintain a Top Secret clearance.
- Active Top Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAFe certification and/or Scrum certification.
- Experience supporting Federal Government programs and mission-critical initiatives.
- Experience with system-to-system data exchange initiatives and data governance activities.
Location
- On-site work environment supporting a Government Client in Clarksburg, WV.
- Occasional travel may be required for stakeholder engagements, workshops, and program support activities.
