About us:
Clocknext is building the Pricing & Billing Infrastructure for AI-Native Apps.
AI products are moving from simple API calls to autonomous agents, creating a completely new challenge around usage tracking, pricing, monetization, and billing.
We help AI-native companies understand what their agents are doing, measure usage and costs, define the right pricing metrics, and build scalable billing infrastructure.
About the role
Our growth motion is product-led and inbound-heavy. People find us through content and search, sign up self-serve, and start metering usage before they ever talk to a human. That only scales if the funnel behind it is instrumented and automated properly — and that's this role.
As our GTM Engineer, you'll sit between marketing, product and sales, and own the systems that connect them. Half marketing operations, half growth engineering: you'll design lifecycle automation, build enrichment and scoring pipelines, wire product signals into the CRM, and use AI to do work that would otherwise need three more people. This is a builder role, not a reporting role.
What you'll do
- Own the GTM stack end to end — CRM, marketing automation, enrichment, product analytics — and keep data clean, connected and trustworthy across all of it
- Build lifecycle automation across the self-serve journey: signup, activation, first metered event, credit top-up, upgrade, expansion, and win-back
- Design product-qualified lead (PQL) scoring using real usage signals — SDK key generated, first billable event, credits consumed, seats added — and route high-intent accounts for follow-up automatically
- Enrich and segment every inbound signup automatically (firmographics, tech stack, funding, AI-product signals) so outreach is relevant on the first touch
- Build AI-assisted outreach and personalization systems grounded in real research and product behaviour — quality at volume, not spray-and-pray sequences
- Instrument the funnel: UTM hygiene, attribution, conversion dashboards from visitor to signup to activation to revenue, and clear reporting on what's actually working
- Run demand-gen operations: landing pages, forms, A/B tests, content and SEO distribution workflows, newsletter and webinar ops
- Ship internal automations and AI agents that remove manual work from marketing and sales
What we're looking for
- 2–3 years in marketing operations, growth, RevOps or GTM engineering at a B2B SaaS company — product-led growth experience strongly preferred
- Hands-on ownership of a CRM and a marketing automation platform (HubSpot)
- Fluency with workflow automation tools — n8n, Zapier, Make, Clay or equivalent — and a track record of automating processes people used to do by hand
- Working knowledge of APIs, webhooks and JSON; you can read documentation and connect two tools without waiting on an engineer. SQL and light scripting (Python or JavaScript) is a strong plus
- Genuinely strong with AI: you use LLMs daily, write good prompts, and have built something real with them — an enrichment pipeline, a research agent, a content system. Using ChatGPT to write email copy isn't what we mean
- Comfortable with product analytics (PostHog) and confident working with funnel data
- Clear writer — GTM engineering is half systems and half copy
- Bias to ship. You'll be early, with no inherited playbook and a lot of room to build
