About The Opportunity
Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Board, the CFO will be a key strategic partner across the Group, combining strong financial stewardship with commercial leadership, enterprise thinking and a genuine focus on creating long-term value.
The CFO will lead the Group's financial strategy and performance across its Australian and international operations, providing clear commercial insight and constructive challenge to support sound decision-making.
Key Areas Of Responsibility Include
- Partnering with the CEO, Board and Executive Management Team on Group strategy, annual business planning, budgets, forecasts and the long-term financial outlook.
- Leading financial planning, forecasting, reporting, treasury, cash flow, capital allocation and working capital.
- Ensuring accurate, timely and decision-useful management and statutory reporting across the Group.
- Maintaining a strong financial control, governance, audit and risk environment in an ASX-listed organisation.
- Providing clear and forward-looking reporting to the Board and Audit & Risk Committee and supporting market, shareholder and investor communications.
- Maintaining trusted relationships with external auditors, banks, insurers, advisers and other key stakeholders.
- Providing financial governance across the Group's Australian and international entities, including tax, transfer pricing, intercompany arrangements and foreign exchange.
- Acting as an enterprise executive and commercial partner across retail, trade, digital, property, supply chain and emerging business operations.
- Leading the continued transformation of Finance through automation, AI, integrated systems, data and improved reporting.
- Overseeing the General Manager – Supply Chain across inventory, logistics, working capital, cost, resilience and continuous improvement.
- Building and developing a high-performing Finance team with clear accountability, capability, succession and development.
About You
You will be an accomplished senior finance executive with significant experience operating in a complex, commercially focused organisation.
You Will Bring
- Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance executive within an ASX-listed or similarly complex organisation.
- Strong retail, consumer, multi-site or distribution experience.
- CA, CPA or equivalent recognised professional accounting qualification.
- Experience within an ASX-listed or similarly regulated organisation, including Board, Audit & Risk Committee and external audit engagement.
- Strong retail, consumer or other complex commercial experience, with a sound understanding of sales, margin, inventory, working capital, property, supply chain and customer economics.
- Experience across multi-entity and international operations, including taxation, foreign exchange and cross-border financial governance.
- Demonstrated capability across budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, capital allocation, treasury and cash management.
- A track record of translating financial information into clear commercial decisions and identifying opportunities to improve performance and returns.
- Experience leading finance transformation, systems, automation, data and reporting improvement.
- The ability to influence and constructively challenge the CEO, Board and senior leadership team while building strong, trusted relationships.
- High integrity, sound judgement, resilience and a genuine commitment to developing people and building high-performing teams.
