Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, on-site role based in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. The CFO will oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and long-term financial planning for the company. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements and reports, monitoring job cost accounting, and ensuring accurate recording of revenues and expenses. The CFO will manage financial controls, support strategic decision-making, oversee banking and lender relationships, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. This role will collaborate closely with ownership and operational leaders to optimize financial performance, support growth initiatives, and provide clear financial insights to guide business decisions.
Qualifications
- Strong finance and financial planning skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial strategy.
- Demonstrated experience with financial statements and financial reporting, including preparation, analysis, and presentation to leadership.
- Advanced analytical skills for interpreting financial data, assessing project profitability, and supporting strategic decisions.
- Proficiency in accounting principles, job cost accounting, and use of financial software or ERP systems.
- Proven leadership experience managing financial teams or functions in construction, contracting, or a related industry preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA is a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex and collaborate effectively with field and office teams.
