Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, on-site role based in Salem, responsible for leading the overall financial strategy and health of KJS Jewellers Private Limited. The CFO will oversee budgeting, financial planning, cash flow management, and capital allocation to support retail operations and growth initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising accounting and finance teams, reviewing and finalizing financial statements, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and tax requirements. The role involves analyzing financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities, advising the leadership team on strategic decisions, and supporting expansion plans and new business initiatives. The CFO will collaborate closely with the founders and senior management to align financial priorities with long-term business objectives and sustainable profitability.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Finance and Analytical Skills to guide strategic decisions and assess business performance.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Planning and Financial Reporting to manage budgets, forecasts, and regulatory submissions.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in preparing and interpreting Financial Statements to ensure accuracy and transparency.
- Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CMA, MBA in Finance or equivalent are highly preferred.
- Significant experience in senior finance leadership roles, ideally within retail, manufacturing, or related sectors.
- Proven ability to lead finance teams, implement controls, and improve financial processes and systems.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with founders and cross-functional teams.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to compliance and ethical financial practices.
