Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Williamsport, PA. The CFO will oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management to support the organization’s strategic goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading the finance team, managing revenue cycle and reimbursement processes, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and accounting standards, and monitoring key financial performance indicators. The CFO will collaborate closely with executive leadership and department heads to evaluate business initiatives, optimize resource allocation, and support long-term growth and sustainability. This role also involves presenting financial insights to the Board, guiding risk management efforts, and championing process improvements across financial systems.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis in a complex organization, preferably in healthcare.
- Proficiency with financial reporting standards, internal controls, and compliance in accordance with GAAP and relevant healthcare regulations.
- Experience leading and developing finance teams, with strong skills in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder communication.
- Ability to oversee revenue cycle management, payer relationships, and reimbursement strategies to enhance financial performance.
- Strong strategic thinking skills, with a track record of supporting organizational planning, capital projects, and risk management initiatives.
- Advanced skills in using financial systems, ERP platforms, and data analytics tools to support decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial audiences.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.
- Prior experience as a senior finance leader (e.g., CFO, VP Finance, Controller) in healthcare or a similarly regulated industry is strongly beneficial.
