Chief Financial Officer (CFO)Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the finance function accross operations for our Seville, Ohio, and Petersburg, VA, locations. Reporting to the CFO of ANSA McAL Chemicals Limited, this executive leader will drive financial strategy, ensure regulatory and Group compliance, oversee risk management, and support sustainable business growth. The CFO will serve as a key advisor to senior leadership, providing financial insights that support operational excellence and long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute financial strategies that support business growth and profitability.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance analysis.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and Group policies.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, treasury activities, and financial risk.
- Oversee tax compliance, audits, statutory reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide financial guidance for capital investments, business transformations, and strategic initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance team while fostering a high-performance culture.
- Strengthen financial governance, internal controls, and compliance standards.
- Drive process improvements and leverage technology to enhance reporting and operational efficiency.
- Serve as the primary liaison with Group Finance, auditors, regulatory agencies, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education
- ACCA, CPA, or CIMA qualification required.
- MBA or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience, preferably within manufacturing.
- At least 5 years of supervisory and team leadership experience.
- Experience managing multi-location and multi-jurisdictional financial operations.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, treasury management, tax compliance, financial planning, and corporate governance.
Technical Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools.
- Familiarity with treasury, audit, compliance, and financial reporting systems.
