Description
The Revenue Operations Director role is responsible for the processes around operational functions essential to sales, marketing and customer success force productivity. These include sales/marketing/cs process optimization, forecasting, planning, reporting, quota management, and compensation administration and design. The Revenue Operations Director is responsible for creating and leading a data-driven organization that enables and continuously improves the overall productivity and effectiveness of the Company’s revenue generation processes. The Revenue Operations Director also works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate strategies, objectives and priorities are optimized across all revenue-related functions. This role will manage the revenue operations tech stack, including: Salesforce, Gong, LeadIQ, LeanData, DealHub, 6Sense, etc.
This position requires a high level of autonomy and discretion, as it involves working on multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to tight timelines, and making strategic decisions regarding project priorities and budget. In this position, you will often need to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and projects. This role is remote and requires the ability to work independently, but collaboratively working with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement. Works closely with sales and marketing management to inspect process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement. Assists sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies. Facilitates an organization of continuous process improvement.
- Creates and distributes marketing, sales, and customer success reporting and other analytics essential to the whole organization, evolving reporting as the company expands through organic growth and acquisitions.
- Responsible for enabling technologies, including CRM, Gong, DealHub, LeanData, LeadIQ, 6Sense, etc., to sales, marketing and customer success teams. Leads the organization’s management of CRM data. Works closely with management to optimize the effectiveness of the firm’s technology investments.
- Manages the Revenue Operations team including Rev Ops Specialists, CRM Director, Data Analyst and Proposals Manager.
- Maintain and manage all data in and related to the CRM ecosystem. Must ensure data cleanliness and accuracy.
- Manage workload and time independently, adjusting schedule and responsibilities based on project needs
Required Skills And Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, preferred.
- 5+ years of experience, including project management and leadership experience.
- Proven experience in revenue operations, management of a CRM and other related technology.
- Experience developing dashboards and reporting on sales KPIs and related metrics.

- This position also requires strong project management skills in a fast-paced environment. Experience using project management software such as Asana or similar is preferred.
- Experience in creating and managing simultaneous projects from inception to completion.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, while also working independently to manage workload and time effectively, with proven ability to do so from a remote/home-based office.
