Chief Revenue Officer (Global)
Location: UK (or major hub), global remit across US, EMEA and APAC
Reports to: CEO
The Role
We're looking for a Chief Revenue Officer to take ownership of revenue across the full business: a network business with a global footprint, and a tactical, agency-facing arm we're pushing to its next stage of growth.
This is a genuinely dual-mandate role, and at least in its first phase, a hands-on, player-coach one. Alongside setting and driving strategy, you'll be personally out in market selling, using your own relationships with agencies and direct clients to land programmatic deals, open doors and close revenue directly, not just directing others to. You'll be equally comfortable close to the tactical agency sales motion (pipeline discipline, outbound rigour, team management) as you are operating at a strategic, global level: setting revenue strategy across three regions, building senior relationships across the agency landscape, and representing the business at industry level.
We're looking for a high performer who wants to make a real impact: someone who can run a team, sell themselves, and set and drive a global strategy, all at once. We believe that person is out there.
We're a high-growth business, which means things move fast and don't always move in a straight line. You need to genuinely enjoy that stage: comfortable with ambiguity, energised by building rather than maintaining. You'll be growing this business from where it is today to $300m, and you need to enjoy that journey.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Leadership
- Own global revenue strategy and performance across the network and agency businesses
- Personally originate and close revenue with brands and agencies, drawing on your own network; particularly in the early phase of the role, this is a contributor position as much as a leadership one
- Partner directly with the Heads of Sales in US, EMEA and APAC to set targets, pipeline standards, and go-to-market approach by region
- Bring hands-on sales leadership to the tactical agency business (coaching, structure, and pace) while building out the longer-term network growth strategy
- Instil a rigorous, outbound-first sales culture: prospecting discipline, pipeline hygiene, forecasting accuracy, and accountability at every level of the sales team
Agency & Industry Relationships
- Act as a senior, credible face of the business across the agency landscape, holding existing relationships and opening new ones at a senior level
- Represent the business at industry events, panels and awards, building profile and trust in the wider media and agency community
- Bring a strong point of view on commerce media, and use that expertise to shape proposition, positioning and go-to-market
Leadership & Operating Rhythm
- Build, coach and hold accountable a global sales leadership team, instilling a consistent commercial culture across very different regional markets
- Own revenue forecasting, reporting and commercial planning at executive/board level
- Work closely with marketing, product and partnerships to ensure the commercial proposition is landing correctly in each region
- Bring structure and process to a business that is scaling, without slowing down the parts of it that are already working
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience running and scaling sales teams, with genuine, hands-on experience in outbound / cold-calling-led selling, not purely inbound or partnership-led motions
- A track record of selling and leading teams that have delivered significant revenue from programmatic campaigns, including PMP and PG deals with agencies
- Experience within a managed service business, ideally similar in model to ours
- A strong, credible network across brands and agencies, built over years rather than a single role, and a genuine willingness to work it personally, not just direct others to
- Experience in or close adjacency to commerce media: you understand the space, the players and where it's heading
- Track record operating across multiple regions (ideally US, EMEA and APAC), and comfortable working cross-culturally with different sales cultures and buying behaviours
- Experience balancing a tactical, in-market sales motion with longer-term strategic account and network growth
- Confident operating at executive/board level, but equally happy being close to the deal and the team
- Strong instincts for both the discipline of sales process and the art of relationship-led selling
Nice to Have
- Experience within a media network, retail media, or commerce media business specifically
- Experience building or scaling a sales function through a period of change
Why This Role
This is a rare opportunity to shape both the tactical and strategic commercial future of the business: building the discipline and pace of a high-performing sales team while also setting the long-term global revenue strategy. You'll have real autonomy, direct access to the CEO, and the mandate to build the function in your own image.
