Job Description:
Minimum 10+ years of IT/business consulting experience, including 2 or more successful
Oracle CPQ Cloud (BigMachines) implementation or transformation projects.
Strong functional understanding of Oracle CPQ Cloud capabilities across product
configuration, pricing, discounting, quoting, approvals, document generation, renewals,
amendments, and order handoff processes.
Act as the functional liaison between business stakeholders, sales operations,
product/pricing teams, IT teams, and offshore delivery teams to translate business needs
into clear CPQ requirements.
Lead requirements workshops, discovery sessions, fit-gap analysis, process walkthroughs,
and conference room pilots for Oracle CPQ and Quote-to-Cash transformation initiatives.
Document business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, process flows,
acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices aligned to Oracle CPQ capabilities.
Analyze current-state and future-state Quote-to-Cash processes, including lead-to-quote,
quote-to-order, pricing governance, approval workflows, asset-based ordering, renewals,
amendments, and contract-related flows.
Provide functional guidance on CPQ product model design, configuration rules, pricing
rules, quote layouts, approval processes, document outputs, and user experience from a
business process perspective.
Work closely with technical leads and developers to ensure CPQ configurations and
customizations align with approved business requirements and functional design.
Support integration discussions with Salesforce, Oracle Sales Cloud, Oracle Fusion, ERP,
CRM, and other downstream systems by defining business data flows, functional
touchpoints, and validation rules.
Facilitate business review and sign-off for functional design documents, solution
walkthroughs, test scenarios, and key CPQ deliverables.
Good knowledge on amendment, renewal, perpetual to term conversion process
Prepare and support SIT, UAT, regression testing, and business validation by defining test
scenarios, reviewing test scripts, supporting defect triage, and ensuring traceability to
requirements.
Support user training, super-user enablement, SOP documentation, adoption readiness,
and post-go-live functional support.
Analyze change requests, assess functional impact, support prioritization, and provide
inputs for effort estimation and release planning.
Coordinate with onshore/offshore teams, manage assigned deliverables, and ensure timely
closure of functional clarifications, open items, and business decisions.
Prepare and deliver business-facing demonstrations, presentations, process walkthroughs,
and solution validation sessions for client stakeholders and leadership.
Must have strong communication, analytical, facilitation, and stakeholder management
skills, with the ability to work effectively with business and technical teams.
Should be open to learning other CPQ platforms and applying Quote-to-Cash domain
expertise across different CPQ implementations as needed.
Must be self-motivated, structured, and capable of independently owning functional
deliverables across the project lifecycle.
Desired Skills
Functional experience in Oracle CPQ Cloud implementations across configuration, pricing,
quoting, approvals, document generation, renewals, amendments, and asset-based
ordering.
Strong understanding of Quote-to-Cash, Lead-to-Quote, Quote-to-Order, pricing
governance, discounting, commercial approvals, and sales operations processes.
Experience preparing functional specification documents, business process flows, user
stories, UAT test cases, traceability matrices, training materials, and SOP documents.
Experience working with Salesforce, Oracle Sales Cloud, Oracle Fusion, Oracle E-Business
Suite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar CRM/ERP ecosystems from a functional integration
perspective.
Exposure to Agile delivery, backlog grooming, sprint planning, defect triage, business
validation, and release readiness activities.
Oracle CPQ Cloud certification or relevant business analyst / functional consulting
certification is preferred.
