Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and steer our organization toward sustainable growth. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including accounting, financial planning, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, ensuring robust fiscal health and sustainable growth.
- Oversee all accounting functions including corporate accounting, governmental accounting, non-profit accounting, and technical accounting practices such as ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
- Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow analyses, and regulatory filings.
- Manage budgeting processes, financial forecasting, cost control initiatives, and financial projection model development to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with industry-specific financial regulations such as GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and relevant government mandates.
- Supervise treasury management activities including cash flow analysis, investment management, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Conduct risk analysis and develop risk management strategies to mitigate financial vulnerabilities while maintaining industry knowledge of financial markets and regulatory changes.
- Lead the finance team by fostering a culture of continuous improvement in financial analysis, data analytics tools utilization, and technical proficiency across finance operations.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in finance leadership roles such as finance directorship or CFO positions within similar industries or sectors.
- Strong background in accounting systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, Excel data analysis tools, and financial software platforms.
- Deep understanding of industry-specific regulations including GAAP, IFRS, IAS standards, ASC 606 revenue recognition rules, and compliance management.
- Proven expertise in corporate finance, cost management, investment management, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex financial reports and develop insightful financial report writing for diverse audiences.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams in high-pressure environments while promoting strategic management practices.
- Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in data analytics tools to support accurate account analysis and cost control initiatives.
- Strong communication skills to articulate financial concepts clearly and influence decision-making at executive levels.
